Google have added a new feature to Maps.Google.com called "Street View", which you can use to view photographs of various places, pan them,  zoom in, etc.  There is a fascinating post over on BoingBoing (as there usually is) here  which starts off with a woman complaining that you can see her cat in her window– is this invasion of privacy or not, I mean, you could gain access to all this information by simply walking dow the street..  anyway, you have to pity this guy, the google van just going past as he ducks out of a strip club…

theres some nice pics of Vegas up, this is worth 10 minutes of your life.  I look forward to seeing it come to the UK.

Saw this film the other night, was a random selection, It kinda in the vaguest sense of the word put me in mind of Breakfast club, its like a gangsta film, but set in a school, with teens.

I’m still undecided if I liked it, however at least it made me think, and was not a complete pile of crapola……

I’ve just been reading over this fantastic article about "The Long Take".  A long sequence in a movie which is shot all in one go, and was amazed to see just how many of my favourites were in their list– Goodfellas, Carlitos Way, Children of Men (anyone seen this by the way?  its awesome!  beautifully filmed), and, WinningStyle favourite, OldBoy (Whoop, theres my Google Keywords stats scrambled).
