Nah, that was ages ago– they got done for the XP thing, then started doing it all legally (except the XBox thing, which isn’t really illegal anyway.  except for the fact that they sold pirate games too, bu that was more the one guy, I think).

yes they did pack up for dodgy xps we still get machines brought in to DAWS with no liscence that now come up as not genuine xp so get ya facts rite lol.And no we wudnt av charged ya a 5er for a sata cable we leave that to people like maplins and pc world (who sell these items for £7.99 and £12.99 respectivly).if u dont believe me go check.We do charge for these items but not anywere near there prices,£1.99 is all we charge.if it wasnt for Daws at this time in telford you would all either have to order bits and disks offline or wait for your usual tuesday nights and sundays…ya know wot i mean

Thanks for taking the time out to sign up and respond to the shameless insults we’ve hurled at Daws Computers.  To be honest, I’m honoured we have any visitors at all.  WinningStyle isn’t really a "public" site, and as you can see, we don’t update or check it very often these days.  I’m surprised I found your post at all amongst the 30,000 spam posts I’ve just deleted.  And then, considering your spelling and grasp of the english language, I’m suprised I didn’t flag it as spam by mistake.

The bottom line is, LB computers, although acting a little naughty in the licensing department, were friendly, helpful chaps who sold quality genuine parts at a very competetive price, Whereas every time I’ve ever been into Daws, I only ever seem to get people usually aged around 17 witrh bad skin (not that I would mind, were it not for the bullshit that seems to flow from their mouths), who don’t really know what I need,  (despite me being very specific), and try to sell me sub-standard obscure brand parts. 

Try finding a driver for a modem or network card from Daws 6 months after you’ve bought it and have lost the CD.  Good luck with that.

I ended up getting my SATA cable off ebay for £1.50 including postage.

I have no idea what you’re on about with the Tuesday and Sunday thing, please enlighten me, if you ever return.

Bottom line is, I’ll buy my stuff from the internet if its all the same.  Especially when my only alternative is you.  Thanks though.
